Does Your Pup Whine or Cry When You Leave the House?

If so, read on…

You have probably seen all of the signs: barking, whining, crying, having accidents indoors, destroying your possessions, and even aggressive behaviour towards you on your return – all of these are symptoms of “Separation Anxiety”.

Further to my recent survey, a lot of our members have expressed interest in a long term cure for separation anxiety, using behavioural modification training and with no health risks to your pup.

If you, like me, find it heartbreaking to see your pup feeling scared and anxious whenever you leave home, you need to take action to help your pup deal with the issue. Hearing your pup crying, can be a stressful time for both you and your pup, and if you come home to find your house in disarray or accidents on the floor – the experience can be stressful and a costly one.

Many cases of separation anxiety are reported in pups who have faced major changes in their lives. These can include pups who have been re-homed, suffered abuse (rescue pups are particularly vulnerable), been taken from their mother too early, who lose a loved one (human or another animal), have missed out on social interaction with other dogs, and pups that are getting used to living in a new environment.

Is Medication the answer? In short… NO, NO, NO!

Although medication may seem like the only answer, medication can cause some long term damage to your pups health like… altered mental state (confusion, depression, or hyperactivity), difficulty walking, trembling / seizures, vomiting, diarrhoea, rapid breathing/heart rate, and increased body temperature.

So what’s the answer? Keep an open mind and click the Image below for a tried and tested solution 🙂
